Cirrus celebrates the final delivery of the USAFA T53!

Cirrus World Headquarters today was filled with pride as we delivered the final airplane of the 25-aircraft fleet to the United States Air Force Academy. Colonel Lloyd Blackmon, Jr. thanked Cirrus not only for delivering all 25 aircraft on cost and on schedule, but he also pointed out that the "…T53 is special all the way up to General Schwartz, who went through the same academy."

Cirrus CEO, Dale Klapmeier thanked Colonel Blackmon and the USAFA for choosing Cirrus, stating how proud he is of this Cirrus aircraft in USAF uniform.

Duluth Mayor Don Ness joined the celebration and added, "The citizens of Duluth are proud of Cirrus and proud that these aircraft are made right here in our community. Cirrus is our shining star."

Cirrus is indeed proud to be part of such a supportive community and now to be the choice of the US Air Force Academy.
