CIRRUS RENEWS SPONSORSHIP OF ICONIC AIRSHOW PERFORMER PATTY WAGSTAFF

Duluth, Minn. (11/06/2008)

Today Cirrus Design Corporation, a recognized global leader in the manufacturing of personal aviation aircraft, announced at the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Expo, that it has renewed its sponsor relationship with international aerobatic star Patty Wagstaff.

Cirrus Co-Founder and Vice Chairman Dale Klapmeier commented on the renewed agreement: "Patty is such a dynamic personality in aviation and a key Cirrus partner. Her prominence as a performer and as an aviation ambassador and advocate - inside and outside the general aviation industry - is unparalleled. We already have several new air shows on the schedule for 2009 where Patty is making her first appearance for Cirrus. A whole new group of fans and airplane enthusiasts will be able to see Patty up close and in person”.

Cirrus Vice President of Marketing, Todd Simmons talked about additional plans for the sponsorship in 2009. "As compelling as Patty is as America's leading air show performer, many do not know that she is every bit as interesting as both an individual and a professional businesswoman that uses her other airplane, a Cirrus SR22, to manage her extensive travel schedule. As one of aviation's leading personalities, Patty maintains close working relationships with many industry trade groups, governing bodies and charitable organizations. Our customers are always moved when they learn how extensive Patty's involvement is beyond her role as a performer".

Simmons continued, "In light of her overall popularity in aviation, for 2009 we have scheduled events for Cirrus friends, customers and others to meet Patty individually on days just prior to her actual aerial performances to hear first-hand how Cirrus is a key aspect of both her performances and her colorful life outside of air show weekends. That's just one of several new programs we have in store with Patty next year".

Patty Wagstaff and Cirrus will appear jointly at the International Council of Air shows in Las Vegas December 8-11, 2008, with plans to announce Patty's full 2009 schedule shortly thereafter.
